At Genesis Podiatry, we've been proudly offering both Private and bulk billing services for over a decade. Despite challenges like the Medicare freeze, we've always believed in accessible primary care for all. However, due to increasing overheads and lack of government support, sustaining this model has become difficult.

Nevertheless, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care. We accept major Credit Cards, American Express, Private Health Podiatry cover, NDIS, DVA, Medicare Care Plans, MyAgedCare and NDIS referrals, SWEP funding, TAC and WorkCover, and offer payment instalments. Your comfort and access to care are our top priorities.
Private Fees
Initial consultation: $80*
Standard follow-up consultation: $75*
Home visits: $135
* additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the concern, this will be discussed during the consultation. The patient is under no obligation to follow through with clinical recommendations.
Example:
A consult concerning a biomechanical nature (muscle testing, gait assessments, sports injuries, etc.)
will incur an additional $30 charge.
Private health fund members
If you are a member of a private health fund with Podiatry cover,
please bring along your current
private health fund card.
More for Feet Program
At our Templestowe branch, we are a part of HCF More for Feet Members Program.
To be eligible for a 'NO-GAP' Initial Consultation, you must be a member of HCF and have Podiatry cover.
In special circumstances Podiatry is covered under Medicare.
We provide Bulk Billed Podiatry Services for patients who have a current EPC/CDM plan (Enhanced Primary Care/Chronic Disease management) with a current federally issued concession card such as; Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, DVA card holders and all Children under 16.
All other patients will be charged a private fee of $15,
as there is no bulk bill incentive from the Federal government to cover the gap.

*If you have a current care plan that is not in our file at the time of your appointment, you will be charged an initial/standard consult as we are not allowed to backdate consultations.
Third Party Cover
At Genesis Podiatry we provide a NO-GAP treatment when working alongside NDIS, WorkCover, TAC, Veteran's Affairs (DVA) and SWEP.

SWEP patients will be charged the total amount and will be reimbursed in full by the SWEP program (if eligible).

TAC/WorkCover Patients: Please bring along your current claim details and any relevant paperwork relating to your injury, accident or situation.
